Weclome Read-a-Thoners! How are you holding up? We’re not too far in right now, but I’m betting you’re ready for a little break! If that’s the case, I got a challenge just for you! Below you’ll find 25 snippets of different YA book covers. Your mission is to name as many of the titles & authors as possible. I know there may a couple that are toughies, but don’t stress yourself out too much! Just relax and have fun!
Those who can answer at least 20 15 (I want as many people as possible to be able to play!) correctly will be entered into a drawing. The winner will be able to choose 3 books from the Readathon Prize List.
Are you up for the challenge? If so, enter your guesses into the comment box and hit submit. EDIT: Don’t worry if you don’t know 15, just submit the ones you know! All comments will be moderated during this challenge, so don’t freak out about your answers not showing up or someone stealing your answers.( I’ll approve them all once the mini-challenge ends!)
One last thing! This challenge will be open from 1pm EST to 4pm EST.

I could never even do this, as I don’t read YA. But its so cool! Awesome contest!
Great idea for a challenge. I know I couldnt name enough… I love YA but am fairly new the that genre so dont think I have enough knowledge under my belt to do this one….
My reading is going good… I have two books complete and am working on a third.
wow, i’m so not good at these book cover challenges. i do recognize speak by laurie halse anderson but that’s it!
Okay, I really want to participate in this, but there is only one book up in there that I recognize, and even then I’m not sure if it’s Wicked Lovely or Ink Exchange. I think Wicked Lovely.
I guess I suck at this.
I’m not in the running, I was just excited to see Alanna the First Adventure by Tamora Pierce up there. I re-read the series this year. I think another is Shiver but I’m not going to go looking for the rest.

I can figure out 11 of them, but two I’m close to remembering. I don’t know if I’ve missed the time, or if I post my answers here, but I tried to guess!
I got off to a slow start this morning since I work all week and really needed to sleep in. After a nice rest, I’ve had a great time and have one book down…which is why I’m taking a short break! Thanks for the fun challenge!
I’ve got 15! Some I know but cannot remember the names!

Wow, hard! I see: Hunger Games, Speak, Annie on my Mind, The Forest of Hands and Teeth, maybe Uglies? And a few others I recognize but can’t name…
I haven’t been doing the mini-challenges but ws perusing my feed reader and saw this. What a GREAT challenge this was. I recognized maybe 5 of the covers (of course Hunger Games being one of them, haha) before I scrolled down and saw what was there. Awesome!
I was only able to figure out 13 of them. But I haven’t heard of quite a few of the ones I missed so don’t feel so bad
Only got 2. Really should have know more… shame on me.
